Tell me a little about yourself ?
Hello guys, my name is Ammar, I am a 26 year old actor. I was born in Macedonia, and later on moved to Istanbul for 5 years before coming back to Kosovo. I can speak fluent albanian, turkish and english. My zodiac sign is Taurus and my hobbies include biking, reading, travelling, cooking and collecting stuff.
When did you decide that you want to become an actor?
After I finished high school. Before this moment I had many options on my mind and could not easily decide. I thought of becoming a biologist but I knew this is a non profit profession in Kosovo. I also thought of studying forensics but it did not fulfill me completely. So there I was a high school graduate watching some of my favorite Al Pacino movies not knowing that very soon this will influence one of my most important life decisions, my career.
What is your strength as an actor?
I’m not sure. I’m always evolving.
Do you have experience acting in film or television ?
Yes I do, in both actually. I also played in theatre. I strongly believe that acting in a film is less challenging than acting in a theater. I do enjoy theater more mostly because the process of rehearsing for the play fascinates me. We usually rehearse for 2 straight months just so that we can perfect a 2 hours play.
Describe your most challenging role to date ?
I am not entirely sure I can pick one for I believe that once you like something and spend time on it, it will eventually look easy to you.
Who are your biggest influences ?
Al Pacino, Johnny Depp. The reason why these two actors immediately crossed my mind is because they always manage to become the role they’re playing. And as we all know they are both known for their amazing skills and acting performances.
